You are a neurodivergent girl that needs to get through the day. You need go to the office, do some work and get back home. You would love to read about whales all day long but you need to earn some money for rent. Urg.

Controls

The "X" button in the game corresponds to the "V" on the keyboard. The "O" button in the game corresponds to the "C" on the keyboard. For the direction keys, you can use the arrows on your keyboard.

About this game

This game was created for the DTJ x GGJ 2026 game jam with the topic "mask". The theme is incorporated through the topic of "masking". Masking, also known as social camouflaging, is when people act in a way that is not true to their natural personality or behaviour due to social pressure. Many autistic people mask to fit into society. This behaviour can be very stressful for those who practise it.

The game combines elements of a board game and a dialogue game. You need to walk to the office. En route, you will encounter plenty of social interactions involving people, eye contact and reading social cues. Your goal is to make it through the day without your sanity dropping to zero and causing a meltdown. While masking can sometimes help in difficult situations, it can also be very tiring. So choose wisely.
