Caveman Dating

Story

You are just a normal girl trying to live her life. Like everybody, you want to be happy. Maybe even get laid sometimes. Who knows? You heard about a new dating app: Caveman Dating. Weird name. Could this be very lazy foreshadowing? Probably not at all. You decide to use it and try to find love! You can match with or decline guys after viewing their profile. Beware: since the dating app is brand new, there are only few dating candidates!

(Overall, there are 10 different bad endings and 6 good endings.)

Controls

The "X" button in the game corresponds to the "X" on the keyboard. For the direction keys, you can use the arrows on your keyboard. Scroll up and down using the arrow keys. Press right to match, press left to decline

About this game

This game is a mix of two recent Trijam themes: "Red Flag" (#360) and "Stone Age" (#366), which I was both unable to join. The idea is that you got to spot the guys giving off red flags. And those who do, have opinions that could straight up come from the stone age. I don't know if I need to say this, but obviously this is an exaggerated portrayal, but I listened to enough true crime to know such stories happen.

Content warning

The game does not show any violent images or something like that, but be aware that in the text, I mention all the bad things I could think of: murders, toxic relationships, sexual abuse, pedophiles. All the bad things.

Red flags

Apart from listening to too many true crime podcasts, I did a quick research what red flags on dating websites are! Please don't meet or be careful around persons that are pushy, that make you feel uncomfortable, that explicitly want drastically younger or "slightly autistic" persons, that lie about their age, that have no profile picture where you can see their face, that call themselves "alpha males", that promote "traditional values" all the time, that ask for nudes, and especially not those that want to meet you immediately. Be careful out there!
